Poor Cosmo Topper. Not only is he henpecked in this world, he's henpecked from the next too. British born Roland Young perfectly portrays Cosmo Topper, a mild mannered banker who is on the conservative side to say the least. When the unlikely friends of his, young and wild George and Marion Kirby die in an accident, they come back as ghosts and feel it's their duty to see that Topper lives it up a little, much against his wife's wishes. As a matter of fact, she doesn't know what's gotten into him since Topper is the only one that can see or hear them. It often appears to others that he's talking to himself when he speaks to the ghostly pair.

Topper was based on the 3 successful movies staring Young and also launched a television show that used another actor as Topper. The show ran on radio in 1945 and few episodes are known to still exist (although we keep looking) but the shows here are priceless and a must for any OTR collection.
