I started collecting OTR back in the 70's and 80's with the CBS Radio Mystery Theater. That's where it started. After that series was complete I soon got the bug and started adding to my collection. I like to find short series that never hit the big time. So if you have something I don't please tell me!! NOTE: I do NOT sell my Old Time Radio as a income !. It's a hobby. The shows I have are everyone's - not mine, I enjoy sharing them. That's why I don't feel it necessary to charge as much. So you're paying for the materials more so than the shows themselves. If I can't enjoy them, I replace them !

Just a note about how I organize the collection. As the sample of someone elses collection at right demonstrates, I had to decide how to organize the collection so I could manage shows and episodes as the collection grew. I had the option at right, which was to simply add new episodes each time I found them and place them on whatever CD had space.  Spreading a Series out over 10 Cds was not what I wanted. Having to find them all, catalog the Cds and sort them would have driven me crazy.

Next- I thought about filling every CD to 700 mb regardless if it meant starting a Bob Hope episode on the last 7-10 meg of a CD and then continuing to the next.  So some CD's are not full. I feel I'm not trying to retire on OTR. But it is my collection, like so many others, it is unique to how I like it, So others can buy 4 CD's of Bob Hope here and nothing but Bob Hope. Some Series were simply too small in number to put on their own CD. But these are simple to move around. However, If I find 10 more, I'd rather make room for them together than have 10 episodes on 10 different CD's. Such as the sample demonstrates. It's simply a Collector's preference.  I hope you agree.

Don't be too surprised if you find you're continuously updating your collection.

This is sort of what my OTR collection looks like.. It Constantly changes

I am always finding new shows out there. I try to never re-create a CD backward in the collection. This keeps other collectors from buying the same CD they have with a new Series on it.

If you'd like to email us, please send us note- we'd love to hear from you.
